Sokoto APC Members Dump Party For ADC Over Insecurity, Hardship

Prominent Sokoto APC members have defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) citing insecurity and economic hardship as reasons for their move. Senator Abubakar Gada, a key figure in the ADC coalition, expressed concerns over the worsening state of insecurity and economic challenges in Sokoto East and the country at large.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who is eyeing the presidency in 2027, accused the ruling APC of trying to undermine the momentum of the ADC coalition. Atiku emphasized the need for a credible alternative to address Nigeria's security and economic issues.

Atiku's spokesperson, Tunde Olusunle, highlighted the urgency of rescuing Nigeria from what he described as unprecedented corruption under the current administration. The ADC aims to galvanize popular support for the liberation and revival of Nigeria.
