Political Coalition Chooses ADC to Challenge Tinubu in 2027 Elections

A coalition of political figures, including David Mark, Atiku Abubakar, and Rauf Aregbesola, has chosen the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as their platform to challenge Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. The decision was made during a meeting in Abuja where they dissociated from the Democratic Alliance (ADA).

The coalition aims to unite under ADC and has directed key figures like Peter Obi and Aminu Tambuwal to resign from their current parties and join ADC. The coalition also revealed plans for the 2027 elections, with a presidential aspirant signing to support the primary winner.

The National Working Committee will announce the dates for governorship primaries in Osun and Ekiti states soon.
