Former Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang has refuted speculations about his potential move from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Jang's media consultant, Clinton Garuba, reiterated Jang's commitment to the PDP.

Meanwhile, Istifanu Mwansat, a special advisor to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, clarified that Mutfwang has not made any decisions regarding defection and is consulting with party leaders. The Young Progress Party (YPP) officials described the rumors as baseless and urged citizens to disregard them.

Governor Mutfwang's camp has firmly denied the claims, emphasizing their focus on development projects.
