Kano Women Endorse Governor Abba for Second Term

The Kano Women Vanguard for Good Governance (KWVGG) has officially endorsed Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for a second term, praising his administration's transformative investments in various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and women's empowerment. The endorsement, communicated through a statement by chairperson Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar, highlights that since 2023, the administration has executed or initiated 1,493 projects, with 799 completed and 694 ongoing.

Key infrastructure projects mentioned include the Dan Agundi Interchange, Tal’udu Cloverleaf Flyover, and the expansion of Katsina Road. KWVGG emphasized the importance of project quality and urged the government to maintain transparency and accountability.

The group also noted significant investments in education, including the sponsorship of 1,001 students to universities abroad and the rehabilitation of 311 healthcare facilities. The administration's efforts are aimed at improving connectivity for rural communities and addressing urban mobility challenges, reflecting a broad development agenda across Kano State's 44 local government areas.
