2027: Bwala reveals how Tinubu will gather 2 million votes in S’east, Obi won’t get ticket

Presidential Special Adviser Daniel Bwala has predicted that Peter Obi, the Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate, may not secure the party's ticket due to a drop in the votes he secured in the previous election. Bwala claimed that Obi could also miss out on the vice presidential ticket.

He boasted that President Bola Tinubu would gather two million votes in the Southeast region in 2027. Bwala emphasized that Obi's problem lies in his declining popularity and the need to build a strong political agenda rather than relying on divisive rhetoric.

He recalled how in July 2025, Obi and Atiku Abubakar endorsed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) platform in a bid to unseat President Tinubu. Bwala's insights shed light on the challenges facing Obi's political aspirations and the shifting dynamics within Nigerian politics.
