Primate Ayodele Warns of APC's Rigging Plans for 2027

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning regarding the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its alleged plans to rig the 2027 general elections. Ayodele's media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, released a statement on November 1, urging opposition parties to act swiftly to avoid being overwhelmed.

He claimed that the level of electoral manipulation being planned is unprecedented in Nigeria's political history and warned that time is running out for opposition groups to prepare. Ayodele specified that the rigging machinery would be activated approximately ten days before the election date, by which time all details would be finalized.

He also alleged that President Bola Tinubu is personally invested in retaining power and intends to hold a covert gathering with technical riggers and certain electoral officials. Ayodele suggested that many serving governors may struggle to secure genuine electoral victories under the current conditions, indicating that the manipulation extends beyond the presidential race.
