Omo-Aje Pledges Economic Recovery and Security for 2027

Aare Rufai Adekunle Omo-Aje, the presidential candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), has committed to prioritizing economic recovery and addressing insecurity in Nigeria if elected in the 2027 general elections. His declaration was formalized through documents submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement, Omo-Aje emphasized that his administration would focus on policies aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians through job creation, infrastructure development, and strengthening public institutions. He stated that restoring security is a top priority, asserting that sustainable economic growth can only occur in a peaceful and stable environment.

Omo-Aje, who is 71 years old and also serves as the National Chairman of the Action Alliance, was selected as the party's presidential candidate through a consensus arrangement during a peaceful primary in Abuja, where party delegates unanimously endorsed him. He urged Nigerians to support the Action Alliance, expressing confidence in the party's vision for a secure and prosperous nation.
