APM Plans Economic Recovery and Security Reforms for 2027

The All Peoples Movement (APM), with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as its presidential candidate, is prioritizing the revival of Nigeria's economy and the combat of insecurity in its governance plans. The party plans to unveil a detailed blueprint addressing these issues soon.

In a statement issued by Abubakar Yusuf, the party emphasized the urgent need for a government style that prioritizes accountability and prudent management of funds. APM criticized the current challenges facing Nigeria, attributing them to mismanagement by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which has led to hunger, insecurity, high living costs, and infrastructural failures.

The APM's governance agenda will focus on strategic investments in critical sectors such as oil and gas, power, agriculture, manufacturing, education, housing, and healthcare, aiming to create jobs and attract foreign direct investment. The party also promises people-oriented policies that anchor social justice, respect for the rule of law, and efficient public service.
