Akwa Ibom Community Endorses Eno, Akpabio, Tinubu for 2027

The Akwa Ibom community residing in North-east Nigeria has unanimously endorsed Umo Eno, the current Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for a second term in office during the 2027 elections. This endorsement was made public through a communiqué issued after a congression meeting of Akwa Ibom indigenes in the region.

The community praised Eno's inclusive leadership style and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the Akwa Ibom people, both at home and in the diaspora. Additionally, they endorsed Senator Godswill Akpabio for re-election to the Senate representing Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, alongside President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.

The letter of endorsement was signed by Mkpisong Obong, the chairman of the Akwa Ibom community in Adamawa State, and Philip Okon, the public secretary. The community emphasized that Eno's leadership has resonated beyond the borders of Akwa Ibom State, particularly among indigenes residing in various parts of the country.
