Senator Bob Defends Governor Eno's Tenure in Akwa Ibom

Senator Effiong Bob, representing the Uyo Senatorial District in Akwa Ibom State, has issued a warning to opposition critics who seek to undermine Governor Umo Eno's administration. Speaking to journalists in Uyo, Bob emphasized that Governor Eno should be allowed to complete his full eight-year tenure, which is currently in its third year of the first term.

He criticized any attempts to shift the political goalposts regarding the governor's mandate and urged those interested in contesting future elections to focus on issues rather than personal attacks against Eno. Bob stated that he would resist any efforts to disrupt the governor's tenure and affirmed that the governor's time in office should not be jeopardized by political ambitions of others.

He called for a respectful political environment where the governor can fulfill his mandate without interference.
