Akpabio, Eno Commit to Development Partnership in Akwa Ibom

During a leadership summit organized by ISDMA in Ikot Ekpen, Godswil Akpabio, the President of the Senate, and Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, reaffirmed their commitment to a sustained partnership for the development of the state. The event, which gathered political leaders, media professionals, and stakeholders, focused on promoting peace, unity, and collaboration in Akwa Ibom.

Mkpisong Archibong, representing local government affairs, commended the district's creative and visionary contributions to the state's growth. Akpabio emphasized the importance of a cordial working relationship between the administration and the media, urging practitioners to promote peace and highlight developmental strides rather than amplify divisive narratives.

Emmanuel Ibokessien described the summit as a valuable platform for mentoring younger leaders, while Aniefiok Nkom praised ISDMA for encouraging leadership excellence within the media profession.
