Ja’afaru Sani Leaves ADC Ahead of 2027 Elections

Mallam Ja’afaru Ibrahim Sani, the immediate past National Vice Chairman (Northwest) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a former governorship aspirant in Kaduna State, has officially resigned from the party. He communicated his resignation in a letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of the ADC in Anchau Ward, Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State, stating that his resignation takes immediate effect.

In his letter, Sani expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in various capacities and highlighted his role as one of the foundational members of the ADC in Kaduna State and the Northwest region. The letter was also copied to the National Chairman, Northwest Zonal Chairman, and Kaduna State Chairman of the ADC.

Sani's resignation occurs ahead of the 2027 general elections amidst ongoing political realignments in Kaduna State and the Northwest. Although there are indications that he may join the All Progressives Congress (APC), he did not specify his next political move in the resignation letter.
