2027 Elections: “I Have No Apologies,” Drama As Nigerian Governor Declares Support for Tinubu

Anambra State Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has caused a stir by declaring his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections, despite being from a different political party. Soludo emphasized his backing for Tinubu is based on shared progressive ideals and a longstanding personal friendship.

Meanwhile, former VON Director General Osita Okechukwu announced that Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah wholeheartedly welcomes the APC. Okechukwu also mentioned the release of a full list of candidates for the Anambra State elections, with 16 political parties cleared to participate.

Additionally, former Labour Party member Fabian Ozoigbo, a strong ally of Peter Obi, has switched to the APC, praising Tinubu's leadership and expressing willingness to contribute to the new Nigeria Tinubu envisions.
