APGA’s Soludo: No Apology Backing Tinubu’s 2nd Term Bid

Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second term bid in 2027, citing the economic reforms initiated since May 29, 2023. Soludo emphasized the need for unity among progressives in the country and stated that he had no apologies for backing Tinubu, whom he referred to as a friend of over 22 years.

Soludo highlighted Tinubu's bold steps in economic and structural reforms, as well as his approach to tackling insecurity. Meanwhile, Senator Aliyu Wadada of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) declared his intention to contest the presidency in 2027, despite being a member of the ruling Progressives Congress (APC).

Wadada praised Tinubu's leadership and transformative agenda, citing infrastructure projects as evidence of his commitment to national development.
