Makinde/Daura Campaign Launches Town Hall Meetings Nationwide

The Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation has announced the commencement of zonal town hall meetings aimed at engaging citizens and stakeholders across Nigeria's six geo-political zones. The meetings will begin on September 22, 2026, in Katsina, North West, followed by a session in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on September 25, 2026, for the South South zone.

The North Central meeting is scheduled for Lafia, Nasarawa State on September 28, 2026, and the South East meeting will take place in Enugu, Enugu State on September 30, 2026. Tony Ehilebo, the Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication to the presidential candidate of the APM, stated that the meetings will focus on critical national issues and aim to foster a citizen-driven dialogue.

The campaign emphasizes its commitment to making leaders accessible and accountable, and it has gained significant grassroots support since Seyi Makinde became the APM's presidential candidate. The campaign also noted recent electoral successes, including a victory in the Bauchi State House of Assembly bye-election.
