Peter Obi Advocates for Issue-Based Campaigns in Kaduna

During a town hall meeting with NDC members and supporters in Kaduna State, Peter Obi cautioned politicians against making unrealistic promises as the 2027 elections approach. He advocated for demand-driven political campaigns rather than mere rhetoric, urging political parties to address the challenges facing Nigerians through direct engagement.

Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, expressed his vision for the country and promised that, if elected President, he would spend his annual holidays in Nigeria to remain close to the people and visit communities facing insecurity and other challenges. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NDC vice-presidential candidate, encouraged voters to actively participate in the electoral process during the meeting.
