Yari's Campaign Strategy for APC 2027 Election Praised

Democracy Today, a good governance advocacy group, commended Senator Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari for his campaign strategy as the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 presidential election. Yari was appointed to this role after the APC established its campaign structure in August.

In a statement by Zander Imaseun, the group's Director of Public Engagement, Yari was recognized for bringing maturity, focus, and a sense of purpose to the campaign while avoiding unnecessary political confrontations. The group noted his balanced approach and effective coordination of the campaign machinery, emphasizing that his leadership style prevents conflicting lines of authority.

They praised Yari's decent disposition and his history as the former governor of Zamfara State, particularly his scholarship program for indigent constituents, as examples of people-centered politics. Democracy Today urged political campaigners to prioritize competence, sincerity, and relevance to the needs of Nigerians.
