ADC Confirms Ocho Obodoeze as Governorship Candidate

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Enugu State chapter clarified its position regarding the governorship and House of Assembly candidates for the 2027 general elections. In a statement released on Friday, signed by Paul Anigbogu on behalf of the Enugu ADC media team, it was confirmed that Chief Ocho Obodoeze remains the ADC's governorship candidate.

The party assured that all House of Assembly candidates have been duly uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal ahead of the elections scheduled for February 2027. Anigbogu stated that the names of all validly nominated candidates were submitted to INEC by the National Chairman and Secretary and have been successfully uploaded.

The ADC emphasized that it conducted primaries for candidate nominations, which were accepted by INEC. The party expressed its commitment to rescuing Enugu State from what it described as the maladministration of the current government.
