Imo Governorship Candidate Warns of Tough 2027 Election if Peter Obi Joins ADC

Charles Ugomuoh, the LP candidate in the 2023 Imo governorship election, predicts a tough 2027 presidential election if Peter Obi chooses the ADC ticket. Ugomuoh highlighted the challenge, especially if the ruling APC's LP candidate switches to the ADC.

He mentioned this in an interview with THISDAY, expressing concerns about Obi's influence in the Labour Party. Additionally, Dare Glintstone Akinniyi of the NDF mentioned the emergence of an ADC flagbearer for the 2027 election.

Atiku Abubakar also assured support for a newly adopted coalition. The political landscape seems to be shifting towards the upcoming presidential race.
