Fintiri Promises 85% Votes for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Umaru Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa State, has pledged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will deliver no less than 85% of the total votes for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This declaration was made during his visit to the APC national secretariat in Abuja, where he met with the national chairman, Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, and Senator Ajibola Basiru, a member of the National Working Committee.

Governor Fintiri emphasized that this visit was part of a familiarization tour following his return to the APC, asserting that his move should not be regarded as a defection. He assured the party leadership that the political structure across Adamawa State is already mobilizing vigorously to achieve this goal.

Fintiri described the recent stakeholder meeting in the state as the largest political gathering in recent times and committed to leading aggressive grassroots mobilization strategies to ensure a significant victory for Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
