Tinubu Celebrates Fintiri's Defection to APC in Yola

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the defection of Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to the party. Speaking in Yola during a grand reception for Fintiri's official switch to the APC, Tinubu stated that capturing Fintiri was a significant achievement that solidifies the party's prospects ahead of the 2027 elections.

He commended Fintiri for his rapid infrastructure development since taking office and emphasized the importance of continuing policies that attract public support and deliver democratic dividends. Tinubu urged APC members in Adamawa to rally behind Fintiri to ensure victory in the upcoming general elections.

He described Fintiri as a beacon of hope for democratic growth and youth development in the state. The event was also attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentaw Yilwatda.
