Group Endorses Akume, APC Leaders for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

A group has publicly endorsed Sen. George Akume and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to oversee the reelection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for the 2027 presidential election.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Amb. Bridget Torbua Igbauk, the founder of Fot S 2027, which aims to enhance grassroots mobilization and bridge communication gaps between the government and the populace.

The group appointed members to its National Advisory Council, including prominent figures such as Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Rt.

Hon. Tajudeen Abba, and Chief Nyesom Wike.

The council will focus on strategic community mobilization and social responsibility to counter misinformation and ensure the success of the "Renew Hope" agenda. The group reaffirmed its commitment to the reelection of President Tinubu, emphasizing that the 2027 election will be pivotal for the administration's policies and community impact.
