Gov Yusuf Vows APC Victory for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

On a Saturday interactive session held at the Government House in Kano, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the All Progressives Congress (APC) secures victory in the 2027 general elections. He pledged to deliver a massive vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election.

Yusuf, who made this declaration through a statement issued by his spokesman Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa, emphasized that the APC administration in Kano would not apologize for supporting President Tinubu. He directed all political appointees to register as APC members and actively participate in strengthening the party's structure ahead of the elections.

Additionally, he approved the allocation of land for 300 political aides, including senior special assistants and report assistants, and announced a payment of N100,000 to beneficiaries. During the meeting, Kano State House of Assembly Speaker Ismail Falgor and APC Chairman Umar Haruna Doguwa expressed confidence in the party's success against the Kwankwasiyya movement in the upcoming elections.
