2027: Group wants presidency zoned to North-Central

The North Central Renaissance Movement (NCRM) is advocating for the zoning of the presidency to the North-Central region in the 2027 elections. The group emphasized the historical contributions of the region to Nigeria's political stability and development, despite not having produced a civilian President since Independence.

NCRM believes that granting the presidency to the North Central zone would promote national cohesion, fairness, and inclusivity. They oppose tokenistic gestures such as offering the zone party chairmanship or secondary roles, insisting on the sole demand for the presidency in 2027.

The movement aims to foster cooperation, progress, and development through North Central stewardship. Ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party's National Executive Committee meeting to discuss zoning key positions, NCRM is calling on Nigerians to support their quest for leadership.
