Hayatu-Deen First to Pick ADC Presidential Nomination Form

Hayatu-Deen has emerged as the first aspirant to obtain the presidential nomination form from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He received the form from the party's national secretariat, marking a significant boost to his campaign momentum.

In a statement released by his media team on Friday, Hayatu-Deen emphasized his commitment to restoring economic stability, strengthening national security, and addressing the hardships faced by Nigerians due to rising living costs and insecurity. He noted that many Nigerians are struggling to afford basic necessities and are tired of living in fear.

Hayatu-Deen pledged to introduce policies aimed at reducing business costs, supporting small businesses, and expanding opportunities for young people. The presidential national assembly elections are scheduled for January 16, 2027, with the governorship and state house assembly elections set for February 6, 2027.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that party primaries will resolve disputes between April 23 and May 30, 2026, with presidential campaign activities commencing on August 19, 2026.
