2027: I started opposition coalition with Fayemi – Rotimi Amaechi

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, revealed that he and Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi initiated an opposition coalition in 2027. Amaechi shared this information during a public chat on X space titled "Weekend Politics." The coalition includes prominent figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and others.

The group recently adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to challenge President Bola Tinubu. Amaechi emphasized the need to address insecurity and improve the economic situation for Nigerians.

He also highlighted his experience as the Speaker of the Rivers State Assembly at the age of 32, serving without impeachment for eight years. Amaechi stressed the importance of creating a new party to represent the middle class and benefit the Nigerian population.
