Ijumu APC Backs Tinubu, Ododo; Votes Against Haruna

On Saturday, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi, convened a meeting in Iyara to rally support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the second-term bid of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. The meeting, led by APC Local Government Chairman Hon.

Oyewole Solomon, included various party leaders and government appointees. The stakeholders expressed strong support for President Tinubu, praising his administration's transformation agenda and achievements, particularly highlighting the appointments of Ijumu natives to key federal positions, including the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Director-General of Ajaokuta Steel Company.

They passed a vote of confidence in Governor Ododo's leadership while simultaneously passing a vote of no confidence on Local Government Chairman Hon. Ibrahim Haruna, citing the need for accountability and unity within the party.

The stakeholders emphasized the importance of responsible leadership in Ijumu.
