Kogi LG Chairman Affirms Support for Tinubu, Ododo

Musa Abdulmalik, the Chairman of Kogi Local Government Area, confirmed the council's commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the 2027 general elections. This statement was made during a reception for the Workplace Security Campaign team led by Comrade Onuh Edoka, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour Matters.

Abdulmalik described the campaign as timely and relevant, citing the Ododo administration's achievements in workers' welfare and state development as reasons for continued support. Comrade Yakubu Mohammed, the NULGE Chairman, and Comrade Gabriel Amari, the Kogi State NLC Chairman, also expressed their backing for Governor Ododo, emphasizing the importance of workers' welfare programs.

Edoka advised workers to prioritize job security and welfare when considering their political support. He commended Abdulmalik for his hospitality towards the campaign team, highlighting the importance of workplace security and personal safety.
