Imansuagbon Urges Southern Support for Atiku in 2027

Barrister Kenneth Imansuagbon, a stalwart of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Edo State governorship aspirant, has called on voters in the South to support Atiku Abubakar's presidential ambition for the 2027 election. He stated that Nigeria requires a leader capable of uniting the country and promoting fairness in political power distribution, economic opportunities, and appointments.

Imansuagbon criticized the current administration of President Bola Tinubu for perceived regional and ethnic biases in governance. He argued that Atiku would rectify the inequitable distribution of power and economic disparities.

He dismissed concerns regarding the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) leveraging incumbency, asserting that the ultimate power lies with the electorate. Imansuagbon also expressed dissatisfaction with the economic policies of the Tinubu administration, which he claims have caused hardship for Nigerians.

He emphasized the need for infrastructure improvements, particularly in roads and electricity supply, and argued that national development should take precedence over regional considerations in presidential elections.
