APC Leaders Urged to Support Tinubu’s Economic Reforms

Mohammed Idris, the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, called on leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Niger State to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in consolidating economic gains and addressing security issues. This appeal was made during a solidarity visit from the Chairmen of the APC across the 25 Local Government Areas of Niger State in Abuja.

Idris noted that President Tinubu inherited a challenging economic and security landscape upon taking office in May 2023. He highlighted the positive changes since then, including the removal of the fuel subsidy, which has provided additional resources for investment in agriculture, healthcare, and education.

Idris acknowledged ongoing security challenges but stated that progress is being made towards restoring normalcy. He urged APC leaders to maintain unity and resolve internal conflicts through dialogue, emphasizing the importance of supporting the administration's development agenda for Nigeria.
