APC's Yilwatda Confident of 2027 Election Victory

Nentaw Yilwatda, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), declared that the party will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 general elections. He made this statement on Saturday in Kank Local Government Area, Plateau State, shortly after casting his vote in the party's ongoing presidential primary elections.

Accompanied by Senator Simon Lalong, who represents Plateau South, Yilwatda emphasized the widespread acceptance of the APC across Nigeria, positioning it among the largest political parties in Africa. He noted the significant turnout of people, indicating strong support for the party's agenda under presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.

Yilwatda also pledged to reconcile aggrieved party members, particularly those who lost in the recent primaries, to strengthen the party's chances ahead of the general elections. Senator Lalong assured support for the APC, while the chairman of Kank Local Government Area, Lapchin Golim, promised overwhelming votes for Tinubu, projecting a 99 percent vote share in the upcoming elections.
