Aisha Yesufu Warns Nigerians of Battle for Survival Ahead of 2027 Elections

Aisha Yesufu, a well-known socio-political activist, has stated that Nigerians are currently engaged in a battle for their lives as the 2027 general elections approach. She highlighted the importance of citizens not abdicating their responsibility in governing Nigeria.

Yesufu revealed her decision to switch her political allegiance to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during an event in Enugu State, where she expressed readiness to join efforts to rescue Nigeria. Yesufu also mentioned Peter Obi, the leader of ADC, indicating her willingness to support his leadership.

This declaration comes after Yesufu's previous allegiance to the ADC was made public in December 2025. She warned that no one should expect external saviors as the battle for Nigeria's future has already commenced.
