Dele Momodu Predicts Atiku Abubakar Will Win 2027 Election

Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, predicts that Atiku Abubakar will emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election, defeating the current president, Bola Tinubu. In an interview with Oseni Rufai on NevOn Media, Momodu expressed optimism about Abubakar's candidacy, stating that he will secure significant support in the southern part of Nigeria while also performing well in the north.

He believes that Abubakar will be able to secure at least 25% of the votes in 26 states, which is a requirement for winning the presidential election in Nigeria. Momodu noted that the political landscape is set for a competitive race, especially given that Tinubu won the previous election with approximately 37% of the votes, primarily from his power base in the southwest.

The prediction comes as the political rivals prepare to face off again, following the previous 2023 elections.
