Nataro Predicts Tinubu's Victory Over Atiku, Jonathan in 2027

Mallam Salihu Nataro, a former governorship candidate from Kebbi State, stated that it would be challenging for any presidential candidate to defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election. In a statement made on Sunday, Nataro praised Tinubu for his sincerity in recognizing the shortcomings of his administration's policies and for his efforts to address them based on public feedback.

Although he holds no animosity towards Atiku and Jonathan, Nataro expressed dissatisfaction with their intentions for Nigeria, particularly their failure to outline strategies for addressing the country's economic issues. He emphasized that the youth are looking for a framework to alleviate poverty, unemployment, and insurgency, which he attributed to the previous administrations of Jonathan and Buhari.

Nataro, a public sector reform advocate, noted that while the current administration has initiated positive reforms, it has not effectively removed underperforming aides. He advised Tinubu to learn from former President Olusegun Obasanjo's effective team and criticized the reliance on academicians in governance, advocating for skills and creativity instead.
