2027: Jonathan Offers Obi Ministerial Slot To Drop Presidential Ambition, Says Kachikwu

Former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, claimed that former President Goodluck Jonathan offered the party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi, a ministerial position in exchange for dropping his 2027 presidential ambition. Kachikwu alleged that Northern political interests were behind this move to weaken the South in the presidential race.

He accused the elite in the North of holding political power for decades without addressing issues like illiteracy and poverty in the region. Kachikwu also criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and called on Nigerians to resist his candidacy, stating that a more equitable Nigeria requires clean hands and sincerity.

He urged Nigerians to clean house and not settle for false promises. This revelation comes amidst growing political tensions in the country.
