Katsina APC Chieftain Denies Radda, Masari Feud Rumors

Abdulaziz Maituraka, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, has refuted allegations of a rift between the current governor Dikko Umaru Radda and former governor Aminu Bello Masari. Maituraka emphasized that their relationship remains cordial and that both leaders share a common commitment to the development and progress of Katsina State.

This clarification comes amid speculation regarding political tensions as the 2027 general elections approach. Maituraka made these statements during a public enlightenment program where he also addressed beneficiaries of a distribution of N4 million worth of goods, including crates of eggs and noodles, across 11 electoral wards in Katsina Local Government Area.

He urged politicians to empower the people and not just seek electoral positions, especially in light of current economic hardships. Katsina State APC chairman Bishir Gambo Saulawa commended Maituraka for his consistent efforts in empowering the populace.
