Radda Secures APC Governorship Ticket Unopposed in Katsina

Radda has clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket unopposed for the 2027 elections in Katsina State. This decision was made during a consensus exercise held on Thursday, where 160 delegates unanimously affirmed Radda as the party's sole candidate.

The chairman of the APC reconciliation committee and former Katsina State governor, Aminu Masari, expressed gratitude for the consensus approach, emphasizing its importance for the party's success. He urged party members to mobilize and vote massively for the APC in the upcoming elections to ensure a better Katsina State and Nigeria.

Dr. Yakubu Maccido, the chairman of the electoral committee for the governorship consensus exercise, explained that the process adhered to the provisions of the electoral act and APC guidelines, confirming that the affirmation was conducted through a voice vote by the delegates.
