Radda Defends Tinubu, Labels Critics as Noisemakers

Dikko Umar Radda, the Governor of Katsina State, criticized those who oppose President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, referring to them as "noisemakers" who create a false impression of the president's popularity. Radda made these remarks shortly after casting his vote in the APC presidential primary in his hometown.

He asserted that Tinubu continues to enjoy significant support from members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State as the 2027 elections approach. Radda dismissed the negative narratives about Tinubu, stating that they do not reflect the reality on the ground, where grassroots support for the president remains strong.

He noted the large turnout of APC supporters in the state as evidence of Tinubu's firm standing among the populace. Radda expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the party's commitment to maintaining peace and political stability in Katsina State.
