Katung and Amo Submit APC Forms for 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, Sundai Katung, the Senator representing Kaduna South, and Daniel Amo, a member of the House of Representatives for Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, submitted their nomination forms to the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja. This submission marks the formal commencement of their re-election bids for the 2027 general elections.

Katung stated that his decision is driven by the need to consolidate ongoing efforts for peace and development in Southern Kaduna. Both candidates expressed their commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilization within the region.

Katung reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and support for President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, describing the party as a viable platform for stabilizing development. Their joint submission is seen as a significant step towards fostering cohesion within the APC ahead of the upcoming primaries.
