Katung Seeks Re-election, Backs Tinubu and Uba Sani

On Sunday, Katung, the current lawmaker representing the Kaduna South Senatorial District, officially declared his intent to seek re-election in the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made during a meeting with local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held in Abuja.

In his statement, which was signed by his special adviser on media, Midat Joseph, Katung expressed his commitment to supporting the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani. He emphasized that his decision to pursue a second term is aimed at consolidating the gains already achieved and ensuring the completion of ongoing projects.

Katung highlighted the importance of sustained quality representation for the people of Southern Kaduna and called for the APC to intensify mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing the need for Southern Kaduna to remain firmly aligned with the APC to continue the development strides already made.
