Katung Mobilizes Southern Kaduna Support for Tinubu

Senator Katung concluded a week-long tour across eight local government areas in Southern Kaduna aimed at mobilizing grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The tour, which was part of the All Progressives Congress (APC) outreach, sought to consolidate party structures and engage citizens to strengthen support for the administration's Renewed Hope agenda.

A statement issued by Midat Joseph, Special Adviser on Media, indicated that the outreach was designed to communicate directly with the grassroots. Senator Katung highlighted key federal government projects facilitated by the Tinubu administration, including the establishment of a Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia and a Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan.

He urged stakeholders in Southern Kaduna to ensure that President Tinubu listens to their demands and acts on them, emphasizing the importance of political performance over empty promises. Katung commended Governor Uba Sani for his inclusive governance style aimed at restoring trust across Kaduna State.
