Kwankwaso Urges Nigerians to Register for 2027 Elections

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State and presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), made a dual appeal to Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to ensure their participation in the upcoming 2027 general elections. In a video shared via his official handle on Monday night, Kwankwaso specifically urged Nigerian youth to complete their voter registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) without delay.

He highlighted the necessity of this participation as crucial for the electoral process. Additionally, Kwankwaso's appeal coincided with remarks from a faction leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Gomb, who accused him of failing to act in the best interests of Northern Nigeria during previous elections.

Gomb claimed that Kwankwaso's actions contributed to the political challenges faced by the North and criticized his failure to seize opportunities in different regions during the last general elections, which weakened the region's political stance.
