Kwara APC Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Re-election Bid

On Wednesday, the Kwara APC caucus convened in Moro Local Government Area to endorse President Bola Tinubu's re-election for a second term in the 2027 general elections. The caucus also endorsed former Kwara APC chairman Bashir Bolarinwa as their preferred candidate for the governorship.

Dr. Bolaji Afolabi, speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, emphasized the commitment to sustaining progress at both state and national levels.

The caucus reaffirmed its unwavering support for Tinubu's leadership, highlighting his reform-driven policies aimed at stabilizing Nigeria's economy. They noted significant initiatives from Tinubu's administration, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the introduction of a student loan scheme.

Bolarinwa's leadership qualities and political experience were cited as suitable for leading the state. The caucus also called for consideration of Moro Local Government Area for a House of Representatives seat in 2027, citing its strong electoral support for the APC.
