Yobe APC Endorses Tinubu for Second Term in 2027 Elections

On Thursday, during a stakeholder meeting held in Damaturu, the Yobe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) declared its support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu's bid for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 elections. The meeting was attended by prominent party members, including the Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Geidam, and the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

Governor Buni addressed the gathering, emphasizing the political journey of the state and the importance of the APC's merger in 2015, which allowed Yobe to connect with major national political platforms. The party's decision to support Tinubu was based on ongoing reforms and the need for continued backing from residents to rebuild and recover from past challenges.
