Lagos APC Endorses Ganiyu Egunjobi for 2027 Reps Race

The Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed Ganiyu Egunjobi, the former chairman of Agege Local Government, as their candidate for the House of Representatives in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This endorsement was formalized during a political gathering held on Capitol Road, Agege, on a Friday.

Taofeek Adaranijo, a former federal lawmaker, praised Egunjobi as a grassroots politician with a distinguished record during his tenure as chairman. Egunjobi highlighted his achievements, including improvements in local government infrastructure and the establishment of a computer-based test center, which made Agege the first in Nigeria to do so.

He expressed gratitude for the party's support and pledged to prioritize the needs of the constituents. Egunjobi dismissed any suggestions that his candidacy was self-serving, stating it was a response to popular demand and a commitment to consult with the community on their needs.
