Ogun APC Endorses Funmi Efuap for 2027 Elections

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed Funmi Efuap, a former commissioner and chairman of the Sagamu Local Government, as their candidate for the House of Representatives in the 2027 elections. This endorsement was reached during a caucus meeting held in Ikenne, where party leaders, including the state chairman Adedoyin Adeleke, emphasized the importance of unity and fairness in the upcoming elections.

Efuap's track record of loyalty and commitment to the party was highlighted, with party members expressing confidence in her ability to secure victory. The meeting also aimed to present a united front for the party to achieve a landslide victory in Ogun State.

The endorsement motion was moved by Dr. Dapo Ojukoya from the Ikenne Local Government Area, with support from Hon.

Adeniyi Akinsanya of the Remo North Local Government Area. The party's senior special assistant on public information, Dare Odufowokan, noted the democratic process within the party, devoid of rancor and infighting.
