Lagos APC Launches Campaign for Tinubu's Re-election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State officially commenced its campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid for the 2027 elections with an inter-faith prayer session held at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Onikan on Tuesday. The party declared Tinubu’s re-election a matter of national interest, citing his governance capabilities and fulfillment of key campaign promises.

The event featured prayers from Muslim and Christian clerics, traditional worshippers, and was attended by notable APC leaders including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governorship candidate Obafemi Hamzat, and other party officials. Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of divine guidance and warned against complacency, stating that the prayer marked the beginning of political mobilization.

He pledged to work diligently across Lagos and the South-West to secure support for Tinubu. Hamzat echoed this sentiment, expressing confidence in the party's victory and calling for peaceful elections.

The campaign chairman, Musiliu Obanikoro, was also present at the event.
