Lagos APC Forms Ethnic Nationality Sub-Committee for 2027

On October 6, 2026, Lagos State Deputy Chief of Staff Sam Egube chaired the inaugural meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Contact and Mobilisation Sub-Committee on Ethnic Nationality. This is the first dedicated sub-committee by Lagos APC aimed at engaging non-indigenous residents and various ethnic groups in the state as part of the campaign for President Bola Tinubu, governorship candidate Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Egube, as head of the sub-committee, will coordinate members across ethnic nationalities, engage with community leaders, and report progress to the wider campaign. The team will build relationships with community associations, organize meetings, and address specific community concerns.
Egube emphasized the importance of listening to community issues to secure victory in the upcoming elections. The sub-committee includes members from various ethnic groups, such as Arewa, South-South, Nupe, and Ndigbo.
Before his current role, Egube served as Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget.
