Obasa Declares Candidacy for House of Reps in Lagos

On Tuesday, Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, declared his intention to run for a House of Representatives seat representing Agege. This announcement was made during a stakeholders meeting held in Agege, Lagos, ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for the 2027 elections.

Obasa called on party members and stakeholders to support his aspiration. He also mentioned the endorsement of Ganiyu Egunjobi, a former chairman of the Agege Local Government Council, who is seeking representation for the Agege constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Additionally, Azeez Oladapo Yusuf and Ninolowo, who are also candidates for the Agege constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, were acknowledged. The political activity in Agege is intensifying as aspirants mobilize support across the constituency in preparation for the upcoming APC primaries.
