Lawuru Campaigns for Warri Constituency Seat in 2027

Chief Lawuru is actively campaigning for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 elections under the APC platform. During a consultation meeting held on Sunday, he emphasized the importance of unity among the Itsekiri, Urhobo, and Ijaw ethnic groups to ensure effective representation in the Green Chamber.

Lawuru criticized previous representatives for failing to embody true service to the people and highlighted the need to reconnect with the Warri community. He lamented the fading influence of the Warri nation in the state assembly and pledged to prioritize reconciliation and inclusivity among the diverse ethnic groups.

Lawuru invoked the APC broom as a symbol of unity and collective strength, urging party members to support his candidacy. Olorogun Bernard Okumagba, chairman of the Warri Urhobo APC leadership council, commended Lawuru's message and expressed commitment to mobilizing support for the APC in the upcoming elections.
